Australian Fax Number Porting

To receive faxes on your existing fax number, you’ll need a Fax Receive Plan.
When setting up your plan, you can choose to:

1. Order a new fax number, or 
2. Port your existing fax number (when setting up a receive fax plan)

If you have multiple numbers to port, you can complete the additional ports after your Fax Receive Plan is active.

How to port an Australian fax number to Notifyre 

(when setting up a receive fax plan)

Before you start Notifyre recommend that you contact your current fax provider to ensure that you are providing accurate porting details.  

1. Login to Notifyre 
2. Go to Plans and choose a receive fax plan 
3. Click Port existing number
   
   
   
4. Enter your fax number details and click Next
   1. Fax number to transfer
   2. Contact first & last name
   3. Contact number (landline/mobile)
   4. Service address
   5. Current Service Provider Name
   6. Current Account Number (with existing service provider)
   7. Port Type
      1. Simple port $27.27
      2. Complex port $100
      3. If you are unsure contact your provider to check or select Unsure. You will be charged for a Simple port, however if a Complex port is required you'll be required to pay the difference and any rejection fees. 
5. Check the details on the summary page
6. Accept the following statements
   
   1. I have contacted my current carrier and confirmed that the number can be ported away. Notifyre is not permitted to liaise with your current carrier on your behalf. 
   2. I will not cancel the fax number with my current carrier until Notifyre has confirmed the port has been successful.
   3. I understand that for factors outside of Notifyre's control, that my current carrier may reject the port request. Port rejection and resubmission fees will apply.  
   4. I have read and accept Notifyre's Terms and Conditions 
7. Proceed to checkout to complete your purchase.

💡Your port request will only be submitted after checkout. A free temporary fax number is provided, this number will be automatically removed once your fax number transfer is successful.

📧You’ll receive a confirmation email once your fax number porting request has been submitted and will be alerted once the porting process is complete. 

✅Once your fax number/s has been successfully ported to Notifyre, any incoming faxes sent to that number will be received via the Notifyre and will be accessible within your Activity reports. 

How to port additional fax numbers

1. Login to Notifyre 
2. Go to Settings and select Numbers
3. Click Port Number
   
4. Enter your fax number details and click Next
