Virtual SMS Number Porting

Keep your existing SMS number when switching to Notifyre by submitting a completed Porting Authority Form with required details and documentation. Once complete, your number will be active on Notifyre’s online SMS service.

Notifyre supports the ability to port in your existing virtual SMS number to Notifyre's online SMS service. This allows you to continue using your current number with the SMS API, Email to SMS service or the online SMS platform, ensuring continuity in your business communications.

How to Port SMS Number(s) to Notifyre

  1. Download the Porting Authority Form (Australia)
  2. Completed required documentation and information:
    • Company Name or Customer Name
    • Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN) if applicable
    • Customer address (street, suburb, state, postcode)
    • Current mobile service provider
    • Current account or reference number (or date of birth if an individual)
    • Preferred porting date
    • Alternate contact number
  3. Send your completed Porting Authority Form and supporting documents to:
    support@notifyre.com
  4. Notifyre's customer team will:

    • Review your porting request and documentation

    • Coordinate the port with your current carrier

    • Keep you updated on the port status at every stage

  5. Once the number is successfully ported, it will appear in your Notifyre account and be ready for sending and receiving SMS.

⚠️Important Notes:

  • The authorisation form is valid for 30 days. The port must complete within this period, or you’ll need to submit a new form.
  • Porting disconnects your number and related services (like voicemail) from your current provider.
  • There may be termination or port-out fees from your current provider.
  • By submitting the form, you authorise Notifyre to disclose your number to other network providers for routing and complaint handling purposes.
  • You must be authorised to request this port for the number(s).
