Yes. Notifyre will automatically retry sending a fax if the initial sending attempt fails.
Fax sending can fail if the recipient’s fax line is busy or temporarily unavailable. To help ensure successful delivery, Notifyre retries sending the fax automatically.
How does fax sending retry work?
- If a fax fails during sending, Notifyre will retry sending it automatically
- Notifyre will retry fax sending up to 3 times
- Automatic retries are designed to handle common issues such as busy fax lines
What happens after the 3 automatic fax sending retries?
If the fax cannot be sent after 3 automatic retry attempts the fax is marked as Failed. You can attempt to resend this manually using the following steps.

Login to your Notifyre account

Click on Activity

Use the filters and date selector to find the fax you want to resend.

Click the three dots (⋮) at the end of the row for that fax.

Click Resend
