[Billing & Plans](https://support.notifyre.com/billing-plans?hsLang=en) November 6, 2025 # Cancelling a Fax Number ## How to cancel a Fax number Notifyre users can cancel an active number and/or subscription via the Notifyre dashboard. When selecting a fax receive plan you will also receive a free fax number. This fax number will be automatically cancelled if you cancel your fax receive plan.  If you have multiple fax numbers attached to your Notifyre account, you can cancel via the fax numbers management or via subscription settings. ### Cancelling a Fax number via number settings: 1. Login to the [Notifyre Dashboard](https://app.notifyre.com/dashboard) 2. Select **Settings** on the left navigation 3. Select **Numbers** from the dropdown menu 4. Select the **Fax Numbers** tab at the top of the screen 5. Select the **checkbox** next to the number you wish to cancel**.** 6. Select the **Actions** button 7. Click **Cancel Number** 8. Click **Yes, Cancel** #### Cancelling a number via subscription settings: 1. Login to the [Notifyre Dashboard](https://app.notifyre.com/dashboard) 2. Select **Settings** on the left navigation 3. Select **Billing** from the dropdown menu 4. Select the **Subscriptions** tab at the top of the screen 5. Select the active fax number plan in **Subscriptions.** This plan will be displayed as **Fax Number** 6. Select the additional options menu button next to the subscription you wish to cancel 7. Click **Cancel Subscription** 8. Click **Continue**   ⚠️All number cancellations will need to be manually approved by Notifyre support. The cancelled fax number status will be displayed as **scheduled** until approved for cancellation.
