Cancelling a Virtual SMS Number

How to cancel a virtual SMS number

You can cancel a Notifyre virtual SMS number subscription at any time, via the Notifyre Dashboard.

💡You will need to be logged in as an Admin User to cancel numbers and plans.  

Cancelling a virtual SMS number via Number Settings

  1. Login to the Notifyre Dashboard
  2. Click Settings on the left navigation
  3. Click Numbers from the dropdown menu
  4. Click the Virtual SMS Numbers tab at the top of the page 
  5. All active, pending to be purchased, scheduled for cancellation and cancelled SMS numbers will be displayed. Select the virtual SMS number you wish to cancel by selecting the relevant check box.
  6. Select Actions
  7. Select Cancel Number
  8. Select Yes, cancel.

Cancelling a virtual SMS number via Billing Settings: 

  1. Login to your Notifyre account
  2. Click Settings on the left navigation
  3. Click Billing from the dropdown menu
  4. Click the Subscriptions tab at the top of the page
  5. Select the 3 dot menu to the right of the virtual SMS number you wish to cancel
  6. Select Cancel Subscription
  7. Select Cancel at the end of the billing period
  8. The Status will change to Pending.

⚠️Once a virtual SMS number cancellation is submitted, it will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and then automatically cancelled. It will then display as "Cancelled".
