How to use the Conversations Tool to manage SMS replies

To receive replies in the Conversation Tool you must send your message from a dedicated virtual SMS number.

If you send SMS from a Shared System Number or Sender ID you will not be able to view replies in the Conversations tool. 

Unread replies will display a blue notification icon with a number count to signify the number of unread message replies from a contact. 


If your contact has be saved in the address book the contact name will display in the message reply list. 

If you have not saved the contact the number will appear in the reply list. Add this contact to your address if you wish to see the repliers First and Last name. 

You can reply to message replies by clicking on the contact number or name. 

In the message reply box you will be able to see the character count, SMS part count and estimated cost before you send.
