How to stop your email signature or disclaimer from being sent in SMS

When sending an Email to SMS via Notifyre:
  • Remove your email signature or disclaimer manually before sending to avoid extra SMS characters and charges.
  • Alternatively, use a dedicated email account or template without a signature.
  • You can also adjust your email client settings to disable automatic signatures for SMS messages.

Extra content like signatures may cause your message to be split into multiple parts, which can increase your SMS costs. Learn more about SMS characters and parts.

Option 1: Manually remove it before sending

When composing your email:
  • Delete your signature and disclaimer from the body of the email before sending.
  • Only include the message you want delivered via SMS.

This is the simplest and most reliable method.

Option 2: Create a separate email profile or template

If you frequently send Email to SMS messages:
  • Set up a dedicated email account or template without a signature.
  • Use this account/template only for sending SMS messages.

Option 3: Adjust your email client settings

In some email platforms (like Outlook or Gmail), you can:
  • Disable automatic signatures for specific recipients or messages.
  • Create a rule or filter to exclude signatures when sending to Notifyre’s SMS gateway address.
