Authorized Email Senders for SMS or Fax

How to add an authorized sender to send email to SMS and/or email to fax

Notifyre users have the option to send SMS and/or fax messages using email by adding authorized email senders via their Notifyre account.

💡You will need to be logged in as an 'Admin User' to configure these permissions. 

To add an authorized sender to send SMS from email:

1. Login to your Notifyre account
2. Select Settings from the left navigation, select “SMS” 
3. From the top tab, select > “Authorized Senders”
4. Enter the email address of the sender you wish to authorize 
5. Assign a number to the email address. 
   

   Note: If sending SMS in the United States users must be assigned a 10DLC number. If sending in Australia users can be assigned a virtual SMS number, Sender ID or a Shared System Number.

6. Select to add the email address and Save
7. An email will be sent from Notifyre to the added authorized sender with the Subject: Verify your email address. The email recipient will need to click the link within the confirmation to 'verify' their email. 
8. Once the email is successfully verified, this symbol will display against the corresponding email within your Notifyre account >  'Authorized SMS Senders' list.
9. The authorized sender can now send SMS via their email using Notifyre 🎉. 

To add an authorized sender to send faxes from email: 

• Login to your Notifyre account
• Select Settings from the left navigation, select "Fax”
• From the top tab, select > “Authorized Senders”
• Enter the email address of the sender you wish to authorize
• Enter the Fax Header. If no Fax Header is set for an Authorized Email Sender the system will use the default fax header if enabled. See: Fax Settings for more information 
• Select the fax number you wish to add an Authorized Sender to
• Select to add the email address  
• Click
• An email will be sent from Notifyre to the added authorized sender with the Subject: Verify your email address. The email recipient will need to click the link within the confirmation to 'verify' their email. 
• Once the email is successfully confirmed, this symbol will display against the corresponding email within your Notifyre Dashboard, 'Authorized Fax Senders'.
• The authorized sender can now send faxes via their email using Notifyre 🎉.
