How to send an SMS broadcast with Notifyre.
Notifyre users can quickly send an SMS broadcast through Notifyre's SMS function to simultaneously send thousands of messages.
To send an SMS broadcast, users must first create a group of contacts by importing a contact list or manually entering contacts to a group.
To send an SMS broadcast via SMS:
- Login in the Notifyre Dashboard.
- Select “Send” on the left navigation.
- Select “SMS” from the dropdown menu.
- The "From SMS Number" field will default to “Notifyre System Number”. Use the drop down menu if you wish to send from any approved custom sender ID or dedicated virtual mobile number. Please see Virtual Mobile Number for more information on how to add a SMS number to your Notifyre account
- In the "To SMS Number" field, enter the name of the contact group you previously created and click
. You can also manually add destination mobile numbers or individual contacts if you desire. - In the "Message" field, enter the body SMS message text. Please see SMS Character Limits for more information.
- Click
and your SMS broadcast will be sent.
To send an SMS broadcast via Contacts:
- Login in the Notifyre Dashboard.
- Select "Contacts" on the left navigation.
- Select the contact group you wish to send an SMS broadcast to by ticking the check box next to the group:
- Click "Send SMS" and you will be redirected to the quick SMS function. The selected contact group will automatically populate to the "To SMS Number" field.
- The "From SMS Number" field will default to “Notifyre System Number". If you have purchased a dedicated Virtual Mobile Number, select it from the dropdown menu. Please see Virtual Mobile Number for more information on how to add a SMS number to your Notifyre account.
- In the Message field, enter the body SMS message text. Please see SMS Character Limits for more information.
- Click and your SMS broadcast will be sent.
