How to Get Started with Notifyre

Learn how to create your Notifyre account and start sending.

 

Notifyre provides secure, enterprise-grade online messaging services for businesses across Australia and the United States. Learn how to create an account and get started with Fax and SMS services.

Step 1: Create a Notifyre account

  1. Visit Notifyre's Sign Up page
  2. Enter your details, including:
    • First & Last Name
    • Phone Number (must be from Australia, United States, Canada, or New Zealand)
    • Email address
    • Password (must include at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character)One special character
  3. Review and accept the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. 
  4. Click Get Started.
  5. Check your inbox for a verification email and click Verify
    • If you don’t see it, check your junk/spam folder
    • You can resend the verification email up to 5 times
  6. Once verified, Login to your account
  7. Enter your Account Name

 

Step 2: Complete account verification

To help prevent spam and protect the integrity of the Notifyre platform, newly created accounts are subject to temporary send limits until verified.
These limits include:
  • SMS: Up to 20 SMS parts (each part is up to 160 characters)
  • Fax: Up to 100 fax pages
Completing your account verification ensures secure and responsible use of Notifyre’s messaging services and unlocks full access to sending and receiving SMS and faxes.

Part 1: Verify your number

  1. Login to your Notifyre account.
  2. Click your Account Name in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Select Profile from the dropdown menu.
  4. Go to the General tab.
  5. Next to your mobile number, click Verify Number.
  6. You’ll receive a verification code via SMS.
  7. Enter the code when prompted and click Submit.

Part 2: Update your business details

  1. Select Settings on the left navigation 
  2. Select Account from the dropdown menu 
  3. From here, you can update the following details:
    • Time Zone: Select your time zone from the dropdown menu
    • Business Name: Enter or edit your business name
    • ABN/ACN/EIN: Enter or update your business registration number
    • Phone Number: Select your country code, then enter or edit your phone number
    • Website: Add your website address
    • Business Address: Search for your location or enter the address manually
  4. Select Save

Part 3: Welcome & onboarding call

Once your details are submitted, our friendly team will contact you to:
  • Verify your identity and business information
  • Answer any questions you may have about setting up your account
  • Support you with getting started using Notifyre’s fax and SMS services

 

Step 3: Add a Payment method and top-up

Notifyre operates on a pay-as-you-go sending model. To send SMS or faxes, you’ll need to add a payment method and top-up your account.
 

To add a payment method and funds:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Billing
  3. Click + Add my payment method, enter your details, and click Save
  4. Click Top-up, enter the amount, and confirm
💡 Enable auto top-up to always have available funds for sending.
 

Step 4: Get started with fax

  1. Top-up your account to enable fax sending
  2. Choose a Receive Fax Plan and select a fax number or port your existing number to Notifyre.
  3. Start sending faxes via:

  1. Top-up your account to enable SMS sending
  2. Choose to send from:

    Step 6: Get started with SMS to United States Numbers

    To send SMS to recipients in the United States, you must complete the 10DLC registration process:
    1. Register a Brand
    2. Register a 10DLC Campaign
    3. Order a 10DLC Number
    4. Top-up your account to begin sending SMS

    💡 This process is required to comply with US carrier regulations and ensure reliable message delivery.

     

    Optional steps to set up your account

     

    Step 1. Add Email Senders 

    To send SMS or faxes via email, you must add the email addresses to your account.
    1. Go to Settings
    2. Select SMS or Fax
    3. Follow these guides to configure email senders:
    4. Add the email address(es) you want to allow sending
    💡 Add the same email address in both SMS and Fax settings if you plan to use both services via email.
     
     
     

    Step 2. Import fax & SMS contacts

    Easily manage your contact lists by importing them into Notifyre.
    1. Go to Contacts in the left navigation

    Optionally choose to:

    Step 3: Invite Sub-users to your account

    Invite team members to your Notifyre account so they can send and receive faxes or SMS messages. Learn how to: 
     
     

    Step 4: Create an API Token

    Integrate Notifyre’s SMS and fax services with your existing systems using our API.
    To create an API token:
    1. Go to Settings
    2. Select Developer
    3. Click Create Token and follow the prompts

    Step 5: Install the Notifyre Desktop or Mobile App

    Access Notifyre on any device by installing the Progressive Web App (PWA). Follow these guides to get set up:

     

    Step 6: Create SMS Templates

    SMS templates allow you to save frequently used messages for quick sending.
    To create a template:
    1. Login to your Notifyre account
    2. Select SMS
    3. Click Templates
    4. Select Create Template
    5. Enter a Template Name and your message content
    6. Click Save
    💡 Use contact personalisation fields like or to customise messages.
     

    Step 7: Create Fax Cover Sheets

    Fax cover sheets can be added to your outgoing faxes for branding or context.
    To create a cover sheet:
    1. Login to your Notifyre account
    2. Select Settings
    3. Choose Cover Pages from the dropdown
    4. Click Create Cover Sheet
    5. Enter a Name, and create your coversheet using the editor
    6. Click Save
    💡 You can choose to upload a cover sheet or use your newly created cover sheet when sending a fax via the dashboard.
